Goat meat is a very healthy red meat. It is leaner and higher protein than beef or chicken. It is a tender, flavourful, lean product which suits the needs of the health-conscious consumer.
Facts:
•It is the most widely eaten red meat in the world.
•Fat content is 50-64% lower than similarly prepared beef and contains 22-29% less fat than lamb.
•It has 40% less saturated fat than chicken (without skin) and far less than beef, pork and lamb.
Do you need a special recipe to serve goat? No!! Just substitute stewing goat meat in any recipe calling for stewing beef. Or substitute goat chops for any recipe calling for pork or beef chops. Use goat meat in any lamb recipe. Experiment – the results will tantalize your taste buds! Just remember that goat meat is best slow cooked over low heat due to the lean nature of the meat.

Stew Meat
Our stewing meat is in large cubes which include the bone. This cut is used primarily for curries and stews.
Chops
Small in size but powerful in taste and fragrant in flavor.
Ribs
Rub on your favourite spices and bake or BBQ. Great finger food.
Leg Roasts
Apply your favorite rub and sauce and wait with anticipation until it is done, rested and ready for your knife and fork.
Leg of Goat Steak
Many consider this the most flavorful cut. Marinate and BBQ slowly.
